Department for Psychosocial Rehabilitation

This open-type ward is intended for middle-aged and elderly female patients suffering from mental illness (schizophrenic disorder, schizoaffective disorder, mood disorders, personality and behavioral disorders, neurotic and somatoform disorders, stress-related disorders, etc.).

The basic indication for admission is that the acute mental state does not endanger the patient or her environment and that she can be included in an occupational therapy program. The programs are adapted to the degree of damage to the patient, i.e. her current voluntary and behavioral characteristics.

After achieving a satisfactory mental state and establishing the possibility of satisfactory functioning, both work and family and social, patients are discharged (return home or to an appropriate institution or foster family), and treatment continues on an outpatient and day hospital treatment.
